Over the past six years, Tom Carlson Consulting has worked on a variety of projects:

Corrections/PREA/SSV Exchanges
Enhanced existing specifications for Correction exchanges, including implementation support.
NIEM Training Videos
Supported by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), we modified and enhanced existing training materials to present an entire NIEM training program via online videos.
CYFS Domain
We were instrumental in combining the existing NIEM Family Services domain with the Juvenile Justice XML Data Model to form the new Children, Youth, and Family Services (CYFS) domain.
Juvenile Justice XML Data Model
Along with Alpha Consulting Group, Inc. and Innovative Technology Solutions, LLC, we are creating a data model for juvenile justice exchanges, based on the GJXDM and NIEM.
NIEM Committee Membership
Company namesake Tom Carlson serves on the NIEM Technical Architecture Committee (NTAC).
NIEM Training Delivery
We have long supplied teaching expertise to NIEM training efforts.
NIEM Training Development

NIEM Wayfarer
NIEM Wayfarer is an online exploration tool for learning about the NIEM and how it's put together. This tool was developed in concert with the National Center for State Courts.
Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) GJXDM to NIEM Migration Assessment
This report assessed difficulties with and strategies for migrating the OACP's GJXDM-based repository to the NIEM.
Rapsheet Conversion
The large Nlets conversion project is creating a NIEM-conformant Rapsheet specification.
Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) IEPD Development
Directed by the IJIS Institute and Waterhole Software, the SAR conversion to the NIEM was one of the first NIEM-specific IEPDs created.
